About MyArk Tree & Grounds Care

With more than a decade of experience in tree surgery and amenity horticulture, MyArk has the necessary skills and flexibility to undertake all work, from small domestic work to long-term contracts.

MyArk holds qualifications in arboraculture, and staff work to BS:3998 1989. This standard incorporates recommendations for planning and undertaking work, relating to safety and best practices for all kinds of tree work. Besides adhering to this standard, MyArk is covered for five million pounds public liability, thus providing further assurances to individuals and public institutions alike.

Wherever possible, MyArk uses hand tools and traditional methods to reduce the use of environmentally unsound machinery.

MyArk is committed to reducing its carbon emissions and has taken large steps to being carbon neutral. All our vehicles now run on 100% bio diesel. Our saws run bio chain oil and we also use bio hydraulic fluid for our plant. As machinery is replaced it is upgraded ware possible to machines with less of an environmental impact,like the new generation of stihl saws with lower fuel consumption and lower emissions.

Waste

Trees generate large quantities of green waste. All our brush is reduced to wood chip and is 100% recycled as garden mulch. Logs and larger waste is either used as fire wood or mulch depending on its type. Logs used as firewood have a carbon advantage over coal in that they are carbon neutral.
